Im pleased to announce the Booted Eagle has finally left us here in Lanjaron for Africa. We had a very heavy storm here, known locally as a Gota Fria, you can find out a bit more about a Gota Fria here and watch the video taken. After this storm I was concerned about how the eagle had coped, but I needn’t have worried. After the storm was over the eagle turned up hunting and then a dark form Booted Eagle also turned up. They seemed to hang around together for the rest of the afternoon and I haven’t seen them since. Maybe he teamed up with the dark form Booted Eagle to make the journey. The picture below is the last photo I managed to get of him. Lets hope he has a safe journey.
