This is a photo of an Adult Egyptian Grasshopper that was taken in my garden yesterday. They do very little damage which is a good job as there are plenty of them around in my veggie garden here in Andalucia.
I found this spider hanging out at a friends house above Lanjaron, its been identified as :- English – Cross Spider Spanish - Araña de la Cruz Latin – Araneus diadematus

Spotted this baby Turkish Gecko in our bathroom, how cute is that. There are 2 types of Gecko in Andalucia, Turkish and Moorish and we have both living in the house. They are good to have in the house as they help keep flys down.
I spotted this butterfly whilst out in a forest above Albunuels, it was very friendly but did not want to open its wings for me.
A beautiful female Southern Hawker (Aeshna cyanea) was flying around the swimming pool area ovipositing.
